I feel like there’s so much to celebrate right now.

First and foremost, IT’S FRIDAY! Congrats for surviving another work or school week! :)

Secondly, WordPress was a kind soul and alerted me to the fact that yesterday’s post was my 200th post!

200 posts

I don’t know if I’ve ever done 200 of anything, so the fact that I’ve actually written 200 posts kind of shocks me. I guess now would be an appropriate time to tell all of you how much I love you and how much your continual support means to me. Here’s to another 200…and 200 after that…and 200 after that…until you’re old and gray and still listening to me ramble on about the most mundane things. ;)

Thirdly, CATCHING FIRE COMES OUT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GUYS.

I REREAD CATCHING FIRE IN 3 DAYS THIS PAST WEEK.

I’D FORGOTTEN HOW EPIC IT WAS.

I HAVE NOTHING LESS THAN THE HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS FOR IT.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to see it until I’m home because the whole school thing (I sacrificed some serious sleep time to accommodate reading Catching Fire), buuuut that’s okay because…

I’M GOING HOME IN FOUR DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And my sister and I already have plans to see it together. (Cue: awww.)

So, needless to say, there’s a lot to be excited about right now.

To end this completely irrelevant, ramble-y post, here’s a few fun links you might enjoy:

Starbucks Secret Menu - It’s not really a “secret menu” in the traditional sense of the word, more like a collection of recipes that you can order at Starbucks and make drinks that sound absolutely mouthwatering. (S’mores frappuccino, anyone?) (Pro tip: don’t order by the name of the drink. They’re not standard drinks that the baristas are supposed to know. Order by the recipe.)

HAPPY FRIDAY!

(And may the odds be ever in your favor.)

(Sorry, I had to.)

ARE YOU GOING TO SEE CATCHING FIRE?!? “No” is not the correct answer to this question.

Do you know how many posts you’ve written so far?

What are you currently excited about?

I am kidding about that last sentence… But duuuuuuude it’s going to be amazing. YAY for going home soon! I was just commenting on Picky Runner – the countdowns to go home for college students are so adorable. YAY!

  5. I saw Catching Fire at the 8pm showing last night :) It was so good, but a little long! IT was my favorite book of the series, so I was super duper excited for it! The only thing I’m bummed about is that the line was way too long to get popcorn…so I had to have a rumbly tummy all through the movie since I didn’t eat dinner in anticipation of the popcorn.

  8. Wahoooo so much excitement in this (200th) post! Last Wednesday, I got my mom’s old Kindle. Since then I’ve read four books, three of them being the Hunger Games trilogy (<< not a very productive school week, clearly). I had never seen the movies or read the books before, and they obviously sucked me in. I thought the movie was good, but to me, no movie can ever compare to the book. I always notice the small details that they get wrong. Book lover probs?
